As an automotive service technician at Legend Volkswagen in Amityville, you will be expected to perform routine maintenance services, automotive repairs, and install replacement parts. You will need to get to the root cause of any car trouble, then address the issue with necessary services. You will be expected to perform thoroughly, always documenting services performed from routine oil changes to resurfacing brake rotors. You will need to communicate with the technician manager and the parts department whenever replacement parts are needed. You will be expected to keep vehicles clean and to be able to communicate with customers regarding necessary services. You will be expected to follow all federal, state, and local regulations and to follow manufacturer guidelines and recommendations for each service.
